The Pattern Bureau tends to the unseen systems that hold your work together.

A compact consultancy focused on design systems, content strategy, and creative support for teams of all sizes

Product teams

As products grow and get more complex, I help teams build processes that support growth without friction.

Startups

When things are early and messy, I help add just enough structure so the team can move faster without losing flexibility.

Freelance teams

For small teams juggling a lot, I help smooth out how work gets done so projects don’t feel harder than they need to be.

Independent creatives

If you’re working solo, I help bring a little order to the chaos so your process feels easier and more sustainable.

Design systems are like public infrastructure. Invisible when they work, impossible to ignore when they don’t.

Core offerings built around systems for digital products, content, and the messy middle

Design Systems

Systems you won’t even notice

Design systems work spans foundations, components, and guidance, helping teams build, evolve, and rely on a shared system as products grow.

Content Strategy

A logic for your language

Well-structured content and clear flows help work communicate consistently, giving teams a clearer path forward and helping maintain momentum.

Creative Support

Quiet systems for creative work

Beyond digital products, systems thinking can bring structure to creative work and free up focus for the work itself.

Systems at work

Galaxy

Galaxy, a rapidly growing fintech company, needed a cohesive system behind a flagship product, Galaxy One. I worked from the inside out, reverse-engineering existing patterns and shaping a design system that brought clarity, consistency, and room to scale.

Ongoing

Toyota

From fragmented beginnings, brand and product documentation was consolidated into dedicated reference sites, alongside a full rebuild of foundations, a redesigned component library, and a clear governance process.

Completed as Senior Product Designer at Saatchi & Saatchi in 2024

Enforma

Enforma, a new Los Angeles-based luxury wellness studio, needed structure behind its new bold art direction. I helped shape content strategy and worked with the creative team to systematize design decisions for consistency, growth, and ease.

Completed as an independent contractor in 2025

Home Depot

In partnership with a cross-functional team at The Home Depot, I helped refine brand and strategic foundations and chart a path for component normalization. The recommendations took shape in a high-fidelity prototype that doubled as an MVP for the brand system.

Completed as Senior Experience Designer at R/GA in 2022
